"We wanted to 'do it all' in Peru and Ecuador, and Rainforest Cruises made it all possible. We started out trying to put together a 3 week trip which would allow us to experience the Amazon rainforest, hike Machu Picchu, do a Galapagos cruise, visit the 'Center of the Earth', have guided visits to cities and ancient ruins, etc.
After a couple of unsuccessful tries with other companies, Rainforest Cruises put together a seamless vacation [Reserva Amazonica Lodge, Machu Picchu & Galapagos Islands Tour] with all of the bells and whistles. We were well looked after at every twist and turn during this unforgettable trip.
We would highly recommend Jeremy and company at Rainforest Cruises. Fantastic trip !!"

We were very happy with our trip and here is some feedback:
Very fast paced trip that covered a LOT of ground, we really got to see so much of Peru [Arequipa, Colca Canyon, Lake Titicaca, Cusco & Machu Picchu and Amazon] in a short period of time. Every transfer was thought of and we never had to haggle over the cost of a taxi or deal with the purchase of a ticket. This allowed us to completely relax between activities and not waste any amount of time on anything other than what we wanted to be doing!
We have travelled a lot and this was our first completely booked trip (by a 3rd party) so it was a nice departure from having to spend precious time on dealing with logistics stuff.
The quality of the hotels was great, you really booked hotels that we would have thought of ourselves, but you saved us the hassle of researching them ...
The tours were all very good. Machu Picchu was totally great and the timing ending up being exactly what we wanted ... our self-guided tour in the early morning was perfect and the hike up Wayna Picchu was awesome.
Our favorite part of the trip was our homestay on Lake Titicaca! That was a true highlight and thank you so much for offering that as an option.
The eco lodge [Heath River Wildlife Center] was really great too. Our guide was great and the accomodations were really special. The boat ride was very long and not very comfortable, but that is part of the adventure, right?
Overall, we were very happy with Rainforest Cruises. You really pulled together a wonderful itinerary at the last moment, so thank you so much again for that.

The trip [Awapé 6-day Charter] was excellent. It could not have been better. We didn't spot a lot of wildlife but this was expected.
The services of Enilson, Mujico, Mario, Giselle and Olga were outstanding. The food was super good.
The Awape boat looked even better than we had expected. The sun deck was especially nice. The program that was put together was awesome.
We all wish we could have stayed longer."

I think fabulous covers it! The boat [M/Y Tucano] is basic and casual, just my style. The food was good, the crew fantastic, everything "shipshape" ready to go on time.
The two guides were knowledgeable about the wildlife and they must have built-in GPS. They always got us back to the boat after wandering through a maze of waterways for two hours!
The daily schedule was easy and varied. Plenty of time for naps and cocktails at sunset. Manaus was an interesting city and the "bridge" magnificent. I'm already looking for one of your other cruises for next year. Thank you." We also met local people in small villages and learned about their culture. Fishing for piranha was fun (although I didn't catch any)! We all were thrilled to see the "Meeting of the Waters" - a great end to the adventure." The trip [M/Y Tucano 8D] was just fantastic and well organized from start to finish. They had planned a great itinerary which fit active types like myself. We had 4 excursions a day (by boat or by foot) including nature walks, nature floats in the canoes, visits to typical villages, and even prihana fishing. It was full days to get the most out of being in the Amazon. The itinerary also took us to a remote area where we did not see other boats or people very often. That helped to make it the adventure of a lifetime - to get that far off the beaten path! The food was very delicious and plentiful on board. But the best part was the guides. Edgy and Souza were AMAZING. They seemed to work 24/7 to provide us with comfort on the boat. But they really shone when they were guiding us in nature. I learned SO much about the plants and their uses and also learned a lot about the birds and animals and ecosystem in general. They were so knowledgeable and answered our ENDLESS questions with a smile every time. Overall I would recommend this trip highly (although I have not been on any other trips on the Amazon!). We have arrived back home, after a wonderful stay in Brazil. We were really happy with the Premium Clipper cruise - it was fabulous. Our cabin was spacious (for a small vessel) and very clean. The water for washing was river water, so a brown colour, but we understood the reason for that. Although not new, the cabin was very comfortable. The meals were very good, with plenty of choice. The drinks were reasonably priced. The sightseeing schedule was huge! Each day started with a 5.30am wake up call, and off in the canoes at 6 am for a sunrise tour. There was usually an afternoon tour as well, and one night, a night tour for spotlighting animals. Being a small vessel, we enjoyed meeting the other travelers. The two guides were very excellent, and both great guys. So, yes, we would thoroughly recommend it. My personal highlights were seeing a toucan in the wild, and swimming with the pink dolphins. The trip was great! The cruise on the Amazon [Aria 5D] was the best part ... Everything about it was as advertised or better. Everything went smoothly and we saw a ton - they told me that we saw a total of 500 miles of the Amazon or its branches. We had two small-boat excursions per day and time to rest in between.
There was no significant motion on board, so I was never sea sick. It's true that the ship often motors all night and you can hear that, but I had no trouble sleeping in cabin 106.

In brief we had a wonderful adventure on the Tucano Dec 8-15, 2012 out of Manaus and up the Rio Negro. There were 15 passengers on board (4 in our Canadian party, 2 Swedes, 2 Brits and 3+2+2 US) and we all got along well. We were well served by the 8 on crew who worked long hours and were always cheerful.

Everything went great. The cruise [Jacaré-Açu 9D] was phenomenal, a great mix between visiting and interacting with local people, checking out the forest and seeing wildlife. The staff were incredibly knowledgeable, helpful and professional. The boat was comfortable, clean and well equipped.

"We had a fantastic 3 day / 2 night trip: Tambo Yanayacu Lodge was idyllic, surrounded by primary forest, where we saw all sorts of animals in the wild, including sloths and various types of monkeys.We also got to try our hand at piranha fishing!

"Came back from Amazon last night. The trip exceeded expectations: the boat [Delfin II] is a floating five star hotel - very well designed interiors, gourmet food, effortlessly efficient and friendly service (neither surly nor servile, just sharing hospitality).
