Amazonat requires travelling a little further from Manaus – 2 hours by road from the international airport. But you will be rewarded with a wonderfully immersive stay deep in the primary rainforest. The lodge’s capacity is small – there are only 3 rooms, which can accommodate up to 5 people – and the architecture is rustic and locally-inspired. Facilities are fairly basic, though comfortable, with private bathrooms, air conditioning and balcony with hammocks all available.
