Rainforest Cruises offers Exclusive Rio Carnival and Amazon Cruise Package

  |   Special Events

Rainforest Cruises launches an exclusive 10-day Brazil package visiting both the Brazilian Amazon for a cruise, and Rio for Carnival, in 2017. Two bucket-list destinations in one amazing trip.

The Brazil tour begins in Manaus, gateway to the Brazilian Amazon, with an overnight stay in one of the city's most stylish hotels, the Tropical Manuas EcoResort, before you board the region’s most luxurious riverboat, the Iberostar Grand Amazon, for a 5-day/4-night all-inclusive Amazon River cruise. As part of Rainforest Cruises’ exclusive package there is, subject to availability, the possibility of a free cabin upgrade!

The cruise includes accommodation in first-rate cabins with private balconies, the choice of two restaurants, a convenience store, two swimming pools, a Jacuzzi, disco, massage room and gym. Off the vessel, english-speaking, expert naturalist guides lead guests on daily rainforest excursions, exploring one of the most remarkable and remote wildernesses areas on Earth, searching for exotic flora and fauna and visiting communities. After the cruise, the second part of the tour begins in Rio de Janeiro, where a 5-day/4-night Rio Carnival 2017 Tour awaits.

“Rio Carnival is the world’s biggest party, so what better time of the year to visit Brazil? This exclusive 10-day itinerary for 2017 from Rainforest Cruises will take you right into the heart of the action with samba lessons, bloco street parties, a sunset party boat cruise and some of the best seats in the Sambadrome itself!”
— Jeremy Clubb, Director

The included hotel in Rio is ideally located in the city's bohemian center, providing a great base to explore the highlights of the city and enjoy the Carnival celebrations. Samba clubs, theatres and capoeira halls, as well as trendy bars, restaurants and cafes, as well as the famous Lapa arches, are all just a 10 minutes walk away. Tour activities include a Welcome Cocktail Party with face painting and group samba classes, a sunset party cruise aboard a private schooner, a tour to the iconic Christ The Redeemer statue and some of the best tickets to the Carnival Parade in the Sambadrome to witness the most famous Samba Schools of Rio.

For those travelers that want to squeeze even more out of their experience, additional Favela and Sugar Loaf Tours can be included, as well as the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to purchase your own Carnival costume and dance with a Samba School in the Carnival Parade itself!

Cruising the Amazon River in Brazil, and being part of the immense spectacle of Rio’s Carnival, are two of the most iconic activities a traveler to Brazil can experience. Rainforest Cruises has combined both into a exciting and affordable itinerary.
