Cattleya 5-Day Cruise and Luxury Machu Picchu Tour
We have returned from our adventure safe and sound and I wanted to touch base with you with a recap of the trip.
First of all, I want to thank you for doing such an amazing job organizing every detail for us! We were met at every destination without delay, the vehicles that transported us were clean and the drivers friendly.
All of the guides were top notch as well; extremely knowledgeable, courteous and helpful. The crew on the Cattleya were fantastic and the food was outstanding! Our guide on the Amazon, Neil, was a standout!...
...We enjoyed all of our accommodations. The JW Marriott in Lima had ocean views, and the B Arts in the Barranco District was super cool. I would recommend the Tambo del Inka hotel in the Sacred Valley as you can easily walk to the town of Urubamba. Just an FYI, the Casa Andina is situated on the road from Urubamba to the Pisac ruins, without access to a village or town. The Mercado in Cusco was fun and had a nice courtyard vibe.
The Hiram Bingham train was worth every penny!
Another highlight of the trip is when we visited a school in one of the villages along the Amazon. One last request; would it be possible for you to send me the email address of our guide on the Cattleya, Neil? We would like to send some school supplies to that particular village. I know that he does tours for many companies so I will appreciate what you can find out.
Many thanks for a fantastic trip."
