M/Y Tucano Amazon Cruise
I think fabulous covers it! The boat [M/Y Tucano] is basic and casual, just my style. The food was good, the crew fantastic, everything "shipshape" ready to go on time.
The two guides were knowledgeable about the wildlife and they must have built-in GPS. They always got us back to the boat after wandering through a maze of waterways for two hours!
The daily schedule was easy and varied. Plenty of time for naps and cocktails at sunset.
Manaus was an interesting city and the "bridge" magnificent.
I'm already looking for one of your other cruises for next year. Thank you."
"I agree with everything Dolores said! It's hard to pick highlights - one was seeing all the wonderful flora and fauna with expert guides, who made sure we didn't miss anything.
We also met local people in small villages and learned about their culture.
Fishing for piranha was fun (although I didn't catch any)!
We all were thrilled to see the "Meeting of the Waters" - a great end to the adventure."
