View From Peru: Arapaima Charter And Cuzco Tour
Here is a detailed review from Janet Blair of Glendale, CA who went on an epic tour of Peru with her party of 10 travelers, privately chartering an Arapaima cruise and visiting Cusco, the Sacred Valley and Macchu Pichu:
What fun we had! The time in the Amazon with our guide, Viktor, was just wonderful. His enthusiasm is contagious and he was a wealth of information about the Amazon River, Pacaya-Samiria National Reserve, Nauta and Iquitos. Viktor adjusted the itinerary according to the interests (and energy) of the group and we truly enjoyed our time with him. The crew aboard the Arapaima was attentive and gracious. The cook, Felix, prepared wonderful food every meal – something we didn’t really expect.
In Cusco, our guide was Maria Elena. She was terrific; knowledgeable and patient. Covered a lot of territory and we would have liked to spend more time there if we could have planned a longer trip. Really enjoyed the Inca history and visiting the ruins. In Machu Picchu, our guide was Alberto. He was also very knowledgeable and willing to share with us. He is clearly happy to show off this amazing site and appreciates the fact that we were quite awestruck by Machu Picchu.
Meeting the guides, drivers, and tour staff at the various airports and train stations went like clockwork. Everybody was there waiting for us when we arrived. You could not ask for a better coordinated trip. We were well aware that we had not budgeted for “first class” but all accommodations met or exceeded our expectations.
So, thank you Jeremy for all your help in arranging this memorable “adventure.” We all had a wonderful time and enjoyed Peru immensely. I would be happy to recommend Rainforest Cruises to others considering a trip to Peru, as our trip was well organized and a very good value.'
