View From the World Cup - Manaus Amazon Cruise
Here is what Germany (and USA under Jurgen Klinsmann!) fan, Helmut Winkler, thought of his recent Brazilian Amazon adventure on one of our Manaus World Cup Cruises, aboard the Iracema:
I must say I still can't really believe the results of the World Cup, and I still feel a bit sorry for the Brazilians. 7:1 was a bit too much.
Anyway, I can tell you there is absolutely no way for bad feedback. The whole trip just went perfect. The Amazon World Cup Cruise indeed was the perfect thing to do in Manaus. It was really enjoyable, the Americans might say "awesome".
We had all comfort on the Iracema, with an amazing team looking after us all the time. There was absolutely nothing to worry about. Very nice, clean and comfortable cabins, great food, perfect caipirinhas, ... And of course a big screen to watch some of the games.
All our excursions on the Amazon were brilliant, too. We got to see lots of birds, caimans, sloths, and of course caught and grilled some piranhas.
And we did not just watch football games, but played with the locals, too. Especially the girls team was very hard to beat!
