Victoria Mekong

A sleek riverboat exploring the Mekong Delta's lesser-traveled yet culturally-rich destinations.

Overview

Launched in late-2019, the sleek 35-cabin Victoria Mekong is one of the region’s newest ships, a masterpiece of style. While her destinations boast an ancient history, the ship enjoys state-of-the-art design and a chic, contemporary aesthetic for the ultimate in Mekong cruising, traveling throughout the Mekong Delta visiting the region’s little-touristed yet culturally-rich destinations.

Cruise the waters of Southeast Asia’s mightiest river and experience traditional riverine life as it is lived along the Mekong River, highlighted by timeless scenes of lush riverscapes and rustic country living. Select from short, overnight itineraries featuring distinctive shore excursions designed to showcase the region’s fascinating peoples and culture, and provide a genuine insight into the life of the Mekong Delta people.

Excitement On & Off Ship

Visit the Tiger Temple on Tiger Island, or a plum wine distillery in Tan Loc Island, watch the age-old traditional silk fabrication process in the only remaining Silk Village in Tan Chau, discover the secrets of the An Giang Museum and wares of the floating market in Long Xuyen, the Vietnam-Cambodia border town of Chau Doc with its magical submerged forest, and riverine islands where life has remained virtually unchanged for decades. Electric bikes are even available for some excursions.

Equally, life on board the Victoria Mekong Cruise is never boring. In fact, you’ll wonder how to fit everything in, from the daily traditional dance entertainment, and the literary joys and pleasure pursuits of the library and games room, to spa treatments, gym sessions, Jacuzzi jollies, and even a game of mini-golf! The lowest River Deck is home to the Bamboo Lobby and its exquisite Boutique, the Green Lotus Spa and 17 Deluxe Staterooms. Above this, the Panorama Deck houses 16 Deluxe Staterooms, 2 Victoria Suites and our Panoramic Claypot Restaurant.

Higher still, on the beautifully-appointed Sun Deck, a host of leisure facilities can be found, including the Horizon Lounge Bar, the Infinity Swimming Pool and Pool Bar, as well as the Sanctuary Library & Games room, the movie room and the Gym. The pinnacle of on board pleasure is arguably the Sky Deck though, where you can enjoy a round of mini-golf or simply take in sweeping, uninterrupted views in every direction of the stunning riverscapes from the comfort of your sun lounger. Each passenger deck on Victoria Mekong is accessible by an elevator as well as a large staircase.

After such exhilaration, guests cruising on the Victoria Mekong can retire to Deluxe Cabins located on either the River Deck or Panorama Deck, or to spacious aft-facing VIP Suites on the ship’s Panorama Deck, all of which boast panoramic French windows, ensuite bathroooms with rain showers, bathrobes and slippers, convertible beds laden with luxurious linens and premium mattresses plumped each night with the daily turndown service, generous closet and under-bed storage, 24-hour laundry service, and views to match those of the Sky Deck but with the extra privacy afforded from your own private balcony.

Taste The Difference

A highlight of a Victoria Mekong Cruise is the on-board culinary offerings—from breezy afternoon cocktails, to complimentary evening canapés in your cabin, and gorgeous dinners showcasing the flavours of the region. The spacious Claypot Restaurant is where guests savour beautifully prepared meals in an inspired setting. It features an open kitchen for an interactive dining experience, and panoramic views of the Mekong River from its large bay windows and terrace where passengers can dine al fresco if desired. Meals comprise a buffet breakfast, buffet lunch and set menus for dinner, all designed by the on board Executive Chef. Meals include free-flow of house wines, local beers and soft drinks. Outside of meal times, the Horizon Lounge Bar is the ideal place to curl up with a book and a cappuccino or a glass of wine while enjoying the river breezes, or alternatively you can cool off with a dip in the pool and a classic cocktail from the Infinity Pool Bar.

Whether you are seeking cultural riches, culinary delights, or merely wishing to discover authentic life on the Mekong River, a cruise aboard the Victoria Mekong is sure to satisfy your deepest delta desires.
