My journey began in adventure travel across Africa, Central Asia, China, India, and Nepal, followed by 10 years working with the United Nations in Nepal.

Since joining Rainforest Cruises in 2016, I’ve had the privilege of experiencing some of South America’s most iconic destinations firsthand — from cruising the Amazon, Galápagos, and Tierra del Fuego, to staying in remote jungle lodges like Tambopata Research Center and the Treehouse Lodge. I’ve also traveled extensively throughout Peru, allowing me to offer clients firsthand insight, personalized recommendations, and expertly curated travel experiences that are as unique as the places themselves.

With a deep-rooted passion for exploration and cultural connection, I bring over two decades of global travel and professional experience to my role as a Destination Specialist at Rainforest Cruises. My Wild Refuge

The Peruvian Amazon and Galapagos
I don't have one favorite cruise destination because each one has its own highlights. First is the Peruvian Amazon. Each time I traveled there, I saw lots of different wildlife, such as anacondas, caimans, giant river otters, and pink river dolphins. Second are the Galapagos Islands. There, I snorkeled with penguins and giant sea turtles and saw a family of whales. Third is Tierra del Fuego because of its amazing glacier landscapes and overall natural beauty.

An Encounter I’ll Never Forget

Swimming Among Giants
During my trip to the Galapagos Islands, I was lucky enough to see a family of whales swimming right alongside our boat—an unforgettable moment. While snorkeling, I encountered a giant tortoise and watched penguins gracefully swimming by, surrounded by a beautiful array of colorful fish. The Galapagos truly is a magical place where animals aren’t afraid of humans; their natural curiosity creates unique and intimate wildlife experiences that stay with you long after the trip.

Three Ships I Love

In the Brazil Amazon, the Tucano is a fantastic way to explore, taking you far up the Rio Negro, away from the busy city of Manaus.
