Overview

The Galaxy Zibó is a boutique expedition yacht designed for adventurous luxury along Costa Rica’s Pacific coast. With capacity for just ten travelers, it offers a private-club atmosphere where guests feel both pampered and at home. The yacht’s adventurous spirit pairs indulgence with exploration, making every moment at sea as exciting as those on shore.

Life On Board

Life aboard Galaxy Zibó balances relaxation with activity. Modern staterooms provide comfort with sweeping ocean views, while the inviting and intimate social spaces create an exclusive and convivial ambiance among fellow explorers. Fresh Costa Rican and international cuisine, personalized service from her five-strong crew plus cruise director, and endless opportunities for water-based fun make her offering even more enticing.

The main deck brings guests together—lounge, dining room, bar, and galley in an open, sunlit space with sliding doors and constant sea breeze, while the Galaxy Zibó’s lower deck gives direct access to the water. With a wide swim platform, gear storage, and open steps, it’s your launch point for every activity. Her upper deck offers loungers, shaded seating, bar access, and the water slide platform—an open-air space built for sun, views, and relaxed afternoons.

Between enthralling land-based excursions and aquatic adventures—in addition to her signature water slide the vessel also carries an array of equipment including kayaks, paddleboards, sea scooters, and jet skis—guests can unwind with a cocktail in hand, watch sunsets over the rainforest-draped coast, or simply enjoy casual camaraderie with the crew who bring Costa Rica’s warm hospitality to life.

Pacific Paradise Exploration

The Galaxy Zibó sails two four-day journeys between Golfito and Quepos uncovering Costa Rica’s most prized Pacific gems, where each day blends plentiful land and sea discovery with a range of cultural immersion and soft adventure opportunities.

In Golfo Dulce, one of the world’s few tropical fjords, guests may spot dolphins as rainforest-lined shores set the scene for a guided visit to the Zamia Wildlife Refuge, highlighting the region’s rich biodiversity and restoration efforts of its coastal ecosystems.

Journeys by small boat through the Sierpe Wetlands reveal one of Central America’s largest mangrove systems, home to caimans, white-faced capuchin monkeys, and vibrant birdlife. At Caño Island Biological Reserve, guests snorkel in crystal-clear waters above colorful coral reefs, encountering tropical fish and sea turtles in a protected marine sanctuary of cultural and ecological significance.

At Barú National Wildlife Refuge, guided walks through forest and mangroves offer encounters with sloths, monkeys, and diverse birdlife, alongside insights into Costa Rica’s innovative conservation initiatives.

An Adventure to Remember

A voyage aboard Galaxy Zibó leaves guests feeling both exhilarated and deeply connected to the natural world. It is a journey that brings you face to face with rare wildlife, lets you plunge into crystalline waters above vibrant reefs, and guides you into ancient forests where every step reveals a new wonder.

This cruise is perfect for explorers who crave both action and comfort, nature enthusiasts who dream of spotting rare species, and travelers who want to balance relaxation with discovery. Above all, it is for those ready to embrace the spirit of pura vida at sea.
