Celestia Yacht
Overview
The 148-foot Celestia yacht, whose name translates to “heavenly” in Latin, is a new, luxurious seven-sailed schooner honoring its Indonesian heritage with a traditional twin-masted phinisi design, and offering guests ambrosial adventures around the Indonesian archipelago—from four- and five-day charter trips in the Komodo National Park, to weeklong sailings around Raja Ampat, the Spice Islands and other destinations in the Coral Triangle.
Handcrafted by the legendary Bulukumba boatbuilders, renowned for their master shipbuilding skills, Celestia combines UNESCO-recognized building traditions with an elegant design, high-end amenities, and first class hospitality.
Life on board
While the yacht’s exterior may reflect centuries-old shipbuilding traditions, the interior design—courtesy of Cape Town-based interior designer Deirdre Renniers and engineered by naval architect Tresno Seery—is rooted in quiet sophistication with its timeless color palette of soft blue, natural stone, and woven rattan in earthy tones, complemented by brass accents.
Her seven spacious, air-conditioned cabins sleep up to 14 guests, with those on the upper deck featuring floor-to-ceiling windows and private balconies with panoramic views. All come decked with custom furnishings acquired from emerging Indonesian designers and tastefully accented with pieces sourced from Balinese artisans. The en suite bathrooms even feature seat warmers and Villeroy & Boch finishings.
There’s a distinctly homely feel on board, with welcoming social spaces in which to hang out with your fellow explorers. Guests can indulge in chef-cooked meals and dine al fresco on the Main Deck, watch their favorite shows in the spacious living room equipped with a flat-screen TV, relax on the Main and Upper decks with their roomy seating areas, or venture onto the bowsprit lounge which doubles as a daybed with stunning views.

Owner Suite
Bathed in light and boasting incredible sea views right from your king-size bed, Celestia has two remarkable owner suites. Both are located on the Upper Deck and are equipped with a private bathroom, air-conditioning, and ample storage space, and each features panoramic picture windows and a floor-to-ceiling sliding door leading onto a large rear-facing private terrace.
Master Suite
With large windows and a privileged position aft of the Main Deck with its own terrace and sun deck, the bright and airy Master Suite affords beautiful seascape views and boasts a king-size bed, ensuite bathroom, wardrobes, and remote AC.
Deluxe Suite
Our lower deck has 4 Deluxe Suites including 2 queen-bed suites and 2 twin-bed suites. Each of our suites has been carefully designed with luxury amenities and a refined sense of space for each guest. Similarly equipped with porthole windows, a private bathroom, air-conditioning, and ample storage space.
