Rebel

A homy yacht fusing tribal soul and modern luxe, inspired by the artisanal riches of Indonesia.

Overview

The Rebel yacht, a traditional handmade phinisi launched in 2020 from Sulawesi, invites up to 10 discerning guests to launch into exclsuive, off-the-grid adventures across the Indonesian archipelago amidst a tribal soul-meets-modern luxe vibe, inspired by the artisanal riches of the region. With no compromise on luxury, and measuring just 30 meters in length, this exquisite 5-cabin vessel offers bespoke and intimate cruising across the Komodo Islands, Raja Ampat, and beyond.

Life On Board

In contrast to the Hamptons-style chic of her sister yacht Rascal, Rebel’s interiors feature more black and white detailing and pared-back décor beautifully accented by traditional Ikat textiles to provide a masterful blend of laid-back luxury with a distinct tribal vibe.

Her five cabins all feature en-suite bathrooms, with master cabins offering king-sized beds, additional daybeds, and impressive wraparound windows. Elsewhere, Rebel’s four spacious common areas have been thoughtfully designed to create an ambiance of sophisticated relaxation, from the inviting saloon and lounge which are ideal for a relaxed drink, to the main deck dining area with sheltered al fresco seating for all 10 guests, which also boasts panoramic views and a surround sound music system.

The international and Asian-inspired menu is sure to be some of the finest and most flavourful food you’ll find on the high seas, but the head chef will happily go off-menu to suit your tastebuds, and is always eager to impart their knowledge with an impromptu cooking class if you wish!

A real highlight is the expansive Roof Deck, perfect for meditation, yoga, or sunbathing, where daily sunset canapés are also served. Uniquely, a fine wine cellar stocks a wide selection of old and new world wines for connoisseurs, and evenings will come alive with the vessel’s unusual cinema under the stars.

Air conditioning and WiFi are found thorughtout, and an attentive crew of 11 ensures every need of your group is met, providing impeccable service and comfort to enhance your journey.

Customized Adventures

Rebel offers exclusive experiences through the breathtaking Indonesian archipelago, promising a deep immersion into remote cultures and rich biodiversity of the region. While specific itineraries are crafted on demand for each group, the emphasis is always on exploring pristine natural wonders and discovering authentic local experiences.

Guests will engage in thrilling daily activities, from full scuba diving with an onboard PADI dive instructor to snorkeling with provided equipment in vibrant marine environments. Explore hidden coves and tranquil waters with the fleet of sea kayaks and stand-up paddleboards.

Beyond water activities, adventures include exhilarating wildlife watching, insightful village and market tours, and even unique experiences like a pop-up beach restaurant set in a stunning secluded location. For those seeking deeper engagement, activities such as cooking classes, massage treatments, yoga sessions, and even diving certification can be arranged upon request. Guests can also gain unique insights by taking a navigation class with the Captain.

A cruise aboard Rebel, with her impeccable service and blend of modern comfort and traditional charm, is ideal for groups of curious and discerning travelers seeking the ultimate in intimate, bespoke adventure, and a personal connection with Indonesia’s wild heart.
