Aliikai
Overview
Offering both small group and private charter cruises for up to 14 guests, Aliikai is a 131-foot wooden phinisi liveaboard built in South Sulawesi. This majestic vessel offers wonderful, customized adventures for couples and families seeking to explore Indonesia’s astonishing diversity of nature, wildlife and scenery both above and below the water.
Life On Board
Aboard Aliikai, you will find seven generously sized cabins spread over three decks, a choice of indoor and outdoor living and dining areas, as well as a dive center with diving equipment, Nitrox, snorkeling gear, and a camera/photography station. The social hub of the boat is the spacious lounge, bar and indoor dining area, which extends onto the main front deck offering alfresco dining.
There is also a vast 60-square-meter sky deck, which is the perfect spot for sunbathing or stargazing, a relaxation sundeck at the stern, and a dedicated ‘zen’ area on the roof designed for yoga practice and meditation. Other facilities include audio and video equipment, two kayaks, two standup paddle boards, a wakeboard, two speedboats and some beach games.
From the kitchen-galley, the on-board chef will keep you well fed with delicious, freshly cooked local and Western dishes served buffet style in the dining area. You will also have the option of dining alfresco on the main deck against the glorious backdrop of islands and volcanoes. Dietary restrictions can be accommodated, and snacks and beverages are available all day long.
As a fitting tribute to Aliikai’s immersive cultural voyages, the vessel is tastefully adorned with carefully selected items collected from previous voyages and the region’s rich history.
