DAY 1: ARRIVAL IN RIO DE JANEIRO
You are met at the airport in Rio and escorted to your hotel, conveniently situated near Copacabana and Ipanema Beaches. Depending on your arrival time, you either have the day to explore the city or rest in your comfortable hotel. Rio boasts some truly spectacular nightlife, so if you are up for some fun, take a stroll along Ipanema's boulevard!
DAY 2: CHRIST REDEEMER AND TIJUCA FOREST
This half day tour will bring you to the 32 square kilometers national park of Tijuca, which is a treasure in the middle of Rio de Janeiro. This huge mountainous urban forest holds the peak of Corcovado where the impressive statue of Christ the Redeemer is located. The sight from here looking over the city is just breathtaking. After visiting the statue and forest you will head back to your hotel passing by the beaches of Ipanema and Leblon. (Meals - B)
DAY 3: SUGAR LOAF AND CITY TOUR
To understand the history of Brazil there is nothing better than a tour in the old City Center of Rio, where you will see attractions such as the Cinelandia Square with its Opera House, National Library and Fine Arts Museum. Other highlights include the Chamber of Deputies, the former Imperial Palace, and the Candel Ria Church. Afterwards you will head by cable car to the top of the iconic 396 meters high Sugar Loaf Mountain. (Meals - B)
DAY 4: A "WHATEVER" DAY
Take the day to enjoy yourself. Whether you are interested in shopping, fine dining, soft adventure, or a cold drink in the warm sand, you can find it in Rio. Most people go for a cold beer or caipirinha (a local rum drink), which are sold right on the beach, so break in your new flip-flops and enjoy a day in the sun! (Meals - B)
DAY 5: BRAZIL SIDE OF THE FALLS
Transfer to the airport for your flight to Iguazu. Today we visit the Brazilian side of the falls, home to Devil's Throat Gorge. This is the tallest of the nearly 270 falls at Iguazu, measuring 80 meters from top to bottom. Enjoy the remainder of the day exploring the Falls, then return to your hotel for a restful evening. (Meals - B)
DAY 6: ARGENTINA SIDE OF THE FALLS
Today's activities take you to the Iguazu National Park located on the Argentinian side of the Falls. You will begin the tour by taking a train to the Devil's Throat trail, which is the biggest waterfall. After that, the tour continues on foot across various trails that take you through the jungle on wooden boardwalks. Later you'll get a remarkable view of the falls on your 'Great Adventure' boat tour. (Meals - B)
DAY 7: RETURN HOME
